After sleeping all night and depriving your body of nice, healthy water, the best way to start a new day is with fresh water and lemon.
My preference is to have freshly boiled water, slightly cooled, with a slice of lemon and the juice of the remaining parts of the lemon.

Well, there are loads of websites that will tell you how beneficial drinking lemon water is, hundreds of benefits apparently. But as far as I can see none of them are proven, so if you know otherwise please add a comment.
What I do know is too much tea and coffee is bad for you and plain, fresh tap water is good. Trouble is, it tastes boring. Adding some zesty lemon really spices up the first drink of the day.
